 Two Common Network Marketing (MLM) Mistakes - Start Own

The reason she came to me was she needed help, there had to be some MLM secret that she was missing.. She emphatically stated she has a Big "WHY", she is willing to learn and looking for some MLM training. She could not understand why week after week she was bringing more people to the company's weekly meeting than anyone else, yet no one was joining.

In the end I was unable to help her. Despite all the above, she was unwilling to invest a single nickel to receive the education and MLM training required to take advantage of this (in my opinion) cash cow.

So, what were the two mistakes?

Easy. Marketing Techniques and Education & Training.

MARKETING TECHNIQUES

This woman doesn't realize that she is allowing the tail to wag the dog. It's not an MLM secret that the old strategies of warm market, tell two who tell two who tell start an online bussiness belly to belly, and the good old bring them to the company meeting just doesn't work anymore. Even if you could still slowly build a business using these methods, why would you want to?

In today's society, with today's technology, it's a matter of working smarter. The reality of any MLM company is that not everyone is your prospect. It sounds like awful hard, tiring work arm wrestling everyone you meet trying to get them to join you. Seems a lot easier to position yourself such that people who already have a want, need or desire for the product or service you offer come looking for you.

And they are looking, no doubt about it. How often do you look up something on Google or Yahoo? If the people already with a want, need or desire go searching on Google, doesn't it make sense for them to find you, instead of someone else?

EDUCATION & TRAINING

This last point drives home the need for education and mlm training. Not everyone knows how to effectively write copy for, or set up a successful Google or Yahoo pay-per-click campaign. Additionally, the internet is not the only successful way to market effectively.

A doctor or lawyer invests years and years in learning, spends thousands upon thousands of dollars, to receive the education and training required to enable them to make the kinds of money they start an online clothing business Yet Network Marketers are led to believe they can make the same money and never spend a nickel on education and be doing so within a month or two.

All the while, with auto-ships, promotional material, trips to company shamun rituals, etc. they end up spending thousands with nothing, or very little, in return. It only makes sense to stop, breathe deep, and spend a couple of thousand dollars wisely on Start Own start an online clothing business and MLM training (not your company's quack). Who knows, you might even have to hire an accountant to help keep your taxes down.
